Alexis is the heart and creative force behind Cirque Du Sucre. With a rich background in the food and beverage industry and a unique journey that includes overcoming personal challenges, Alexis brings an unparalleled passion to every aspect of the business. As the visionary behind Cirque Du Sucre's menu, marketing, and design, Alexis ensures that each event is as visually captivating as it is delicious. Known for her engaging presence and commitment to community, Alexis uses her role to make every interaction memorable, sharing joy, flavor, and a bit of magic through her hand-spun fairy floss creations.
José is the logistical lead and quiet powerhouse behind Cirque Du Sucre. A skilled carpenter, he built the company’s cart by hand, adding a unique, authentic charm to every event. With degrees in outdoor education and timber framing, with a focus in historic preservation, José infuses his love for history into the brand, giving it an antiquated yet vibrant feel. By day, he shares his passion for the outdoors as a ropes course instructor at Crossnore, and by night, he brings strength, support, and a meticulous touch to Cirque Du Sucre. His dedication and craftsmanship ensure that every detail reflects the company’s core values of quality, authenticity, and community.
